Rising singer, King Zaga, was recently the recipient of royal blessings when the Oluwo of Iwo land, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, handed him his royal staff and mandated him to showcase Nigeria in a positive light to the rest of the world.
Oluwo, Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has described the Iwo born musician, King Zaga as an asset to Iwoland and entertainment industry.
Oluwo said the lyrical conduct and musical composition of zaga as inspiring and motivating, calling on wealthy individual to encourage the aspiring musician.
Zaga told Sunday Scoop that the royal father was pleased with his style of music which promotes the culture of Yoruba land. He said, “Kabiyesi told me that he loves my style of music and that I should continue propagating Yoruba culture to the rest of the world, just like foreign artistes have exported western culture around the world. I feel encouraged by the royal blessings I got, and it means that people are actually listening to and watching what I’m doing because I started doing music since 20 years ago.”
